Milja Yli-Opas

Milja Yli-Opas is a seasoned beauty journalist and professional with extensive experience in the cosmetics industry. Currently serving as a freelance writer for A-lehdet Oy since May 2018, Milja specializes in beauty content for Voi Hyvin magazine. Previous roles include a beauty consultant at Parfums Christian Dior, product manager at Face Helsinki, and a trainee at Kauneus ja Terveys lehti. Milja has also gained valuable experience as a beauty trainee at Looks Deluxe Oy and Sanoma Media Finland. Prior to entering journalism, Milja worked as a beautician at Vuoristot Yhtiö Oy, providing skincare services in a spa hotel. Milja holds a Bachelor’s degree in beauty and cosmetics from Laurea University of Applied Sciences and is currently pursuing further education at the University of Lapland.
