Alfredo Maldonado has extensive experience in information technology and management roles. Alfredo currently serves as the Sr. Director of Global Business Systems at A. O. Smith Corporation, where they have rebuilt the Functional Applications Center of Excellence team and implemented various digital technologies to optimize business operations. Prior to this, they held positions as Vice-president and CIO at EQUANS North America, Sr. Director - Enterprise Business Solutions at Nabors Industries, and Executive Delivery & NA Technology Consulting Partner at DXC Technology. Alfredo has also worked in leadership positions at Broadspectrum, Cameron, BP, Hewlett Packard, Union Carbide, and EY, focusing on IT strategy, process transformation, and project delivery. Overall, Alfredo Maldonado has a strong background in IT leadership and implementing innovative solutions to drive business value.

Alfredo Maldonado earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Manufacturing Systems - Robotics from Tecnológico de Monterrey, which they attended from 1991 to 1993. Prior to this, they completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electronic Systems Engineering at the same institution from 1986 to 1991. In addition to their formal education, Alfredo also obtained certifications in Driving Business Innovation from McCombs School of Business, The University of Texas at Austin in 2015, ITIL Foundation from EXIN in 2006, and SAP Application Consultant from SAP in 1997.
