Principle Reliability Engineer at A-P-T Research

Fayssal Safie has been working in the field of engineering for over 30 years. Fayssal began their career in 1986 as a Reliability/ Quality/Risk Assessment/Systems Engineer with the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). In 2009, they became a NASA Reliability and Maintainability Technical Fellow with the same organization. In 2017, they joined APT (A-P-T Research, Inc.) as a Principle Reliability Engineer. Additionally, since 1987, they have been an Adjunct Professor of Industrial and Systems Engineering at The University of Alabama in Huntsville (UAH).

Fayssal Safie obtained their Doctorate in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Cleveland State University between 1981 and 1985. Prior to that, they obtained a Master's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Cleveland State University in 1981. Fayssal also obtained a Bachelor's degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering from Ohio University between 1977 and 1980.
