John Tatom

Vice President, Explosives Safety and Testing at A-P-T Research

John Tatom has worked in the explosives safety and testing field since 1991. John began their career at Engineering Analysis, Incorporated as the Director of Engineering Software. In 2000, they joined APT Research and held various roles, including Vice President, Explosives Safety and Testing, Division Director, Explosives Safety and Testing, Group Lead, Explosives Safety, and Explosives Safety Engineer. In this role, they were responsible for developing and improving APT's explosives effects and consequences models, and for planning and conducting testing programs to corroborate the models. John also supported government and industry customers, both in the US and internationally.

John Tatom attended Auburn University from 1986 to 1991, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. John also attended Huntsville High School.
