Instructional Designer at A Pass Educational Group

Carrie Liles has worked in the education field since 2007. Carrie began their career as a 7th Grade Math Teacher at MSD of Wayne Township, where they worked with students from a low socio-economic status. Carrie then moved to Dysart Unified School District in 2008, where they designed and implemented a Responsibility Plan for grades 5-8. In 2009, they moved to MSD of Warren Township, where they implemented technology to create whole group instruction, small group instruction, remediation, and advanced leveled learning. In 2016, they joined Pearson as an Instructional Designer, where they were responsible for the conception and development of advanced learning strategies in multimedia assets for E-learning purposes. In 2020, they joined A Pass Educational Group, LLC as an Instructional Designer, where they designed, developed, wrote, and reviewed standardized assessments across multiple grade levels and content areas. Carrie also joined Portland State University's Center for Executive and Professional Education (CEPE) as an Online Course Developer, and Actively Learn as a Content Writer. Currently, they are a Lead Instructional Designer at Junior Achievement USA, where they design and develops asynchronous and synchronous online interactive learning resources.

Carrie Liles obtained a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Teaching, Mild/Moderate Intervention and Middle School Mathematics from Anderson University in 2007. Carrie continued their education at Indiana University School of Education - IUPUI, where they earned a Master's degree in Educational Leadership and Administration (Urban Principal Program) in 2012. Prior to this, Carrie Liles attended Plainfield High School from 1999 to 2003.
