Deirdre Hiam

Deirdre Hiam has a long and varied work experience. Deirdre began their career in 2000 as an Assistant Editor/Science Team at Gale Group. In 2001, they moved to Thomson Gale as an Editor/Science Team and Associate Editor/Science Team. In 2006, they moved to Thomson Learning as an Editor/Science and Religion Team. From 2014 to 2018, they worked as a Freelance Project Manager and Copyeditor for A Pass Educational Group, LLC, a Freelance Writing and Editorial Services, and a Copyeditor for Digital Marketing Direction. In 2018, they joined Manning Publications Co. as a Project Editor. Finally, they moved to Cengage Learning in 2000, where they have held the positions of Senior Development Editor, Senior Content Project Editor/Science, Nation, & World Team, Content Project Editor/Science, Nation, and World Team, Editor/Science, Nation, and World Team, and Editor/Science and Religion Team.

Deirdre Hiam obtained their Bachelor's Degree in English from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in 2002.
