Melanie van Riel

Melanie van Riel has extensive experience in claims handling across various sectors in the insurance industry, currently serving as Senior Schadebehandelaar Varia at ASR since February 2017. Prior roles include Schadebehandelaar transport and Junior jurist at ASR, and various positions at Interpolis, Centraal Beheer, Achmea, Unigarant, and ABN AMRO Bank N.V. Melanie has a background in improving collaborations between companies, handling various types of claims, and assessing liability within insurance coverage. Melanie holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree from Windesheim, complemented by additional studies at the Open University.
