David Edgar

David Edgar has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. David began their career in 1994 at AEA Technology plc in Tokyo, where they served as the East Asia Technical Services Manager, providing technical sales, service support, and consultancy to blue-chip customers in East Asia. David then moved on to work at Sharp Electronics as the Commercialization Manager, responsible for commercializing European R&D projects. After that, they joined Binatone Electronics in Hong Kong as the Digital Group Manager, revitalizing the brand and driving innovation in telecom products. Following that, they worked at Plastic Logic as the Product Operations Director, overseeing the delivery of consumer products and establishing a new product manufacturing team. David then joined IRX Innovations as the Product Director, leading product design and seeking commercialization partners. After that, they worked at Intelligent Energy as the Head of Product Development, focusing on commercializing fuel cells in consumer and aviation products. Currently, they serve as the Director of Technology at A-SAFE GROUP, leading the development of world-class technology products and driving innovation in safety and efficiency solutions. David also recently joined Fathom3 as the Director of Technology. Throughout their career, Edgar has demonstrated a passion for innovation, leading teams to overcome technological challenges and deliver exceptional products.

David Edgar obtained an MBA degree in Business from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2000. Prior to that, they completed a BSc degree in Physics from the University of York between 1988 and 1991.
