Kennice Hudson

Director, Kinship Navigator & Expansion at A Second Chance

Kennice Hudson joined ASCI in 1999 and has over 22 years of experience working in several different areas of social work including Intake Caseworker, Case Aid, Case Aid Supervisor/Assistant Director, Senior Kinship Navigator Caseworker IV/Supervisor and Child and Family Services Director. She studied at the University of Phoenix, majoring in sociology. She obtained certificates and credentials from Temple University of Harrisburg for strength-based family workers and obtained certificates of supervisory leadership development from the Hilda R. Baker Kinship Institute.

Hudson is very passionate about executing her duties of keeping families together while decreasing the level of trauma experienced by children being placed in traditional foster care, group homes and/or shelters.

Hudson is committed to the mission and vision of ASCI and believes that every youth has the right to reside in a home that provides love, safety and keeps them connected to their roots and culture.
