Sarah Hunsberger

Sarah Hunsberger is the Human Relations Administrator at A Second Chance, Inc., who oversees recruitment, talent acquisition and retention efforts at A Second Chance Inc.

Sarah believes that recruitment is more than just filling positions; every candidate has a unique set of skills and knowledge that they bring to the table, and it is vital to find the fit that can bring new ideas and experience to the team in an effort to diversify their agency to provide the best services possible to the community. Before being promoted to her role as Human Relations Administrator, Sarah served as the Executive Assistant to the Executive Vice President of Human Relations providing high-level support to the department.

Prior to joining A Second Chance, Inc., in 2021, she was a Program Specialist with InVision Human Services, supporting and overseeing the Direct Service Professionals who commit every day to ensure that people with intellectual disabilities live rich and fulfilling lives, as independently as possible. During her time at InVision, Sarah was selected from her agency to participate in the Capacity Building Institute where she collaborated with agency leaders and professionals under the purview of national experts for an in-depth learning opportunity centered around dual-diagnosis and the IDD community, including a focus with children on the autism spectrum.

Sarah earned her Associate of Arts degree with a focus in Psychology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania.
