A Step Up Academy
Jacqueline Kaczmarczyk has experience as a Behavior Interventionist, Registered Behavior Technician, and Instructional Assistant at A Step Up Academy. Previously, Jacqueline worked as a Head Camp Counselor and After School Childcare Worker at Greater Philadelphia YMCA. Additionally, Jacqueline has experience as a Mathematics Tutor at Teach For America and as a Summer Camp Counselor at Greater Philadelphia YMCA. Jacqueline also worked as a Book Seller at Barnes and Noble’s University Bookstore and as a Food Service Worker at Tubby Robot. Jacqueline holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Temple University.
A Step Up Academy
A Step Up Academy is a private, not-for-profit school for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder from Preschool through 8th grade. “A Step Up Academy prepares students to become engaged participants in society by developing innovative academic, social, emotional, and behavioral programming as well as impactful community partnerships.” Grounded in evidence-based practices with a focus on targeting the fundamental areas of communication, we work with students, families, school districts and communities to place children back into a fully inclusive environment. Our focus is to serve the growing population of young children on the autism spectrum that have significant developmental delays, speech and language difficulties, and moderate behaviors that are associated with the diagnosis. We serve children in preschool through fourth grade. A Step Up Academy targets cognitive, academic, social, sensory, and motor development, as well as adaptive and problem behaviors that interfere with learning. We offer in-house speech & language and occupational therapies.
