Gregory D. Burks

Gregory D. Burks, MA has been with the Illinois Department of Public Health since November 2007. Burks serves as a Chemist III in the Division of Laboratories, leading the Environmental Chemistry section and performing Chemist II duties. Gregory D. also holds the titles of Chemist II and Chemist I within the same division. In addition to their work at IDPH, Gregory D. has been a Surge Personnel at A-TEK, Inc. since April 2010, assisting the Chicago BioWatch team with Polymerase Chain Reaction testing. Burks holds a PhD in Organizational Leadership, an MA in Clinical Psychology and Counseling, and a BS in Chemistry.
