Sophie Watts

Sophie Watts is an experienced professional currently serving as an English Language Teacher (Online) at Engoo since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sophie worked as a Research Assistant at An Taisce from January to March 2023, contributing to the GLOBE programme aimed at educating students about climate change. Additionally, Sophie gained retail experience as a Sales Associate at Stock Design while completing a master's degree. A strong background in coaching was established at the Arabian Gymnastics Club, where Sophie held roles as both a Senior Gymnastics Coach and Gymnastics Coach from March 2016 to January 2023. Other positions include working as a Server and Hostess at Orso's Restaurant during a J1 work exchange programme in the summer of 2022, and a summer job as a Retail Salesperson at Clarks in August 2019. Academically, Sophie holds a Bachelor's degree in Zoology from Trinity College Dublin and is pursuing two master's degrees in Ecosystem Science and Policy from Justus Liebig University Giessen and University College Dublin.
