Yana Yankova

Yana Yankova has extensive work experience in various management roles within the telecommunications and marketing industry. Since 2023, they have been working as the Head of Financial Services International at A1 Telekom Austria Group, overseeing the development of the Paybox bank's financial services portfolio across multiple countries. Yana is responsible for business development and executing the financial services strategy.

Prior to this, Yana worked at A1 Bulgaria, first as the Senior Manager of the Fintech & Digital Solutions Department, where they led digital marketing initiatives and developed the A1 Group fintech strategy. Yana then became the Senior Manager of the Fintech Services Department, focusing on acquisition and growth strategies for mobile money and payment services.

Yana also held the position of Manager of the TV & Converged Services Team at VIVACOM, where they led the development and implementation of product strategies for TV and converged services. Additionally, they were responsible for customer value management and the VIVACLUB Loyalty Program.

Throughout their career, Yana has demonstrated strong leadership skills and a proven ability to build partnerships and drive innovation. Yana is a member and mentor at CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing, where they help individuals achieve their career goals.

Yana Yankova, MCIM CMktr, has a diverse and extensive education history. Yana pursued a Master's degree in Finance, Fintech, and Digital Innovation at VUZF University from 2023 to 2025. Prior to that, from 2022 to 2024, Yana completed a Full Stack Developer program focused on Python at Software University (SoftUni).

Yana also holds an Executive MBA from The University of Sheffield, which they obtained from 2016 to 2018. In 2002, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Marketing from the University of National and World Economy. Yana's education journey began with an Associate of Arts (AA) degree in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instruction from Foreign Languages Gymnasium, which they completed from 1997 to 2002.

In addition to their academic achievements, Yana Yankova has obtained numerous additional certifications. Yana holds the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) certification from Glacier, earned in November 2023. Yana also completed certifications in Prompt Engineering and Advanced ChatGPT from edX in July 2023. Yana became a Chartered Marketer through CIM | The Chartered Institute of Marketing in March 2023. Yana holds certifications as a Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) Practitioner & Master Practitioner from The Priority Academy, obtained in January 2023. Yana also earned a Nutritionist Diploma from Fabulous Body Inc in January 2023 and a Strategic Life Coaching Practitioner certification from The Priority Academy in January 2023.
