Rich Groves

Rich Groves is an experienced technology leader with a robust background in network architecture and data science. Currently serving as the Head of Security Data Science at A10 Networks, Inc. since April 2013, Rich manages a multinational team focused on developing advanced security solutions, including a Threat Intelligence system and Machine Learning-based DDoS Mitigation software. Prior experience includes a role as Principal Network Architect at Microsoft, where Rich created the DEMon network monitoring system and developed a botnet sinkhole system for the Digital Crimes Unit. Additionally, Rich held leadership positions at Time Warner Cable, Endace, AOL, MCI, and Essential Technologies, demonstrating expertise in infrastructure cost reduction, packet capture engineering, and network services engineering.
