Rory Hope is a System Engineer at AAC Clyde Space since January 2022, focusing on delivering a 6U Earth Observation CubeSat Constellation, including tasks in requirements management, technical report writing, and optical payload integration. Previously, Rory served as a Mechanical Engineer, contributing to the design of a deployable solar array and antenna mechanism, and provided harness definition for a CubeSat. At StrathAIS from January 2020 to September 2021, Rory led extracurricular CubeSat activities, achieving second place in the UKSEDS Satellite Design Competition, and designed communication systems for a lunar base project. Earlier experiences include serving as Vice Head of Propulsion Systems at StrathLoop for the SpaceX Hyperloop Competition and working as a Customer Assistant at Morrisons. Rory holds a Master of Engineering in Electrical & Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde and has studied at the University of Technology Sydney and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
