Marian Altman

Marian Altman has held the position of Team Supervisor and Clinical Practice Specialist at the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses (AACN) since September 2014, contributing to the AACN Clinical Scene Investigator (CSI) Academy, a program designed to develop clinician leaders and promote improvements in patient outcomes and hospital efficiency. Prior to this role, Marian served as a Clinical Nurse Specialist at VCU Medical Center from November 2002 to September 2014. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Nursing obtained from Virginia Commonwealth University between 2012 and 2017, a Master's Degree in Registered Nursing acquired at Virginia Commonwealth University from 1986 to 1990, and a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing completed at Virginia Commonwealth University from 1979 to 1983.
