Michelle Sanchez, MSN, RN, CPHQ, CENP currently serves as the Beacon Award for Excellence Program Manager at the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses since March 2012, ensuring alignment of the program with the organization’s mission and providing leadership to staff and volunteers. Previously, Michelle worked as a perioperative traveling nurse at Axis Healthcare Staffing and as Clinical Director at Greater Springfield Surgery Center, where responsibilities included the establishment of a new surgery center, equipment and staffing negotiations, and policy creation. Additionally, Michelle has extensive nursing experience from Baystate Medical Center, working in endoscopy, the operating room, and post-anesthesia care. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Nursing Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Sacred Heart University.
