Ron Tuninga has extensive work experience in various roles and positions. Currently, they are the Vice President and MD EMEA at AACSB. Previously, they served as the Professor Emeritus at Kingston University and as the Pro Vice Chancellor & Dean Kingston Business School London. Ron also held the position of Professor and International Board Member at Audencia and served as the Chair of the Exam Board at Northumbria University. Ron Tuninga has also worked at AVT Business School as the Honorary Dean and later as the Dean. Ron held the position of Vice President of Academic Affairs at Wittenborg University of Applied Sciences. Additionally, they served as the Chair of the Research Center International Business and Professor of International Business at Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN). Ron Tuninga has also been actively involved with AACSB, Association of MBAs, and Open Universiteit in various leadership roles.

Ron Tuninga completed their education in a chronological manner, starting with their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Management from Nyenrode Business University, which they earned from 1977-1980. Ron then pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in International Business and Marketing from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, completing it in 1981. Continuing their education at Temple University, they obtained a Master of Science (MSc.) degree in Marketing from 1983-1986. Furthermore, they also achieved a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Economics during the same period. Their educational journey culminated with a doctoral degree (PhD) in International Business and Marketing from the Fox School of Business at Temple University, which they completed in 1987.
