Dan Kaufman

Dan Kaufman has an extensive work experience spanning over two decades. Dan currently holds the position of Vice President, Deputy General Counsel at Aadi Bioscience, Inc since 2022. In their previous role at The Medicines Company, Dan served as the Vice President, Deputy General Counsel. Dan was responsible for effectively managing all legal and compliance matters during a pivotal period leading up to the company's sale to Novartis. Before that, Dan held various roles at The Medicines Company, including Vice President, Clinical Integrity Counsel and Senior Director, Clinical Integrity Counsel/Global Contracting and Business Ethics. In these roles, they handled legal and compliance matters related to clinical, R&D, pharmacovigilance, and contracting. Prior to joining The Medicines Company, Dan worked as a Senior Litigation Associate at Dechert, where they represented corporate clients in complex litigation matters. Dan started their legal career as an Associate at Porzio Bromberg & Newman P.C., focusing on pharmaceutical product liability litigation. Dan's early experience also includes working as an Associate at Harris Beach PLLC, where they represented pharmaceutical companies and other corporate clients in various types of litigation.

Dan Kaufman obtained a JD (Juris Doctor) degree from Brooklyn Law School from 1999 to 2002. Dan completed their undergraduate studies in Business Administration, earning a BS (Bachelor of Science) degree from the University at Buffalo between 1992 and 1996.
