Nick Leong has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Nick is currently serving as the VP of Engineering at Saakuru Blockchain, where they focus on developing dApps and addressing industry-wide challenges related to blockchain. Before joining Saakuru Blockchain, Nick held the same position at AAG, a web3 infrastructure company that aimed to simplify interactions with blockchain applications for mainstream users and traditional companies.

Prior to their roles in the blockchain industry, Nick worked as the Head of Product and Engineering at Angelists Ltd. in 2018. Nick also has experience as an investor at GigSky since 2011.

One of Nick's remarkable achievements was as a Co-Founder and CTO at TOOVIA, where they built a comprehensive omnichannel SaaS platform for high-end designer brands and retailers. This platform revolutionized how brands utilize data and technology to create innovative and consistent shopping experiences for customers across offline and online channels.

Nick's earlier experiences include working at TIBCO Software as a Director, where they led the Quantum Leap team and strategized and managed projects for strategic accounts in Asia Pacific and Japan. Nick also served as the Head of Engineering in the Emerging Technologies Division and was a Principal Architect in Global Architects. Notably, Nick played an instrumental role in developing reference architectures and integrated solutions in the communication industry.

At the beginning of their career, Nick worked as a Software Engineer at Nortel Networks, where they designed and developed software for large-scale distributed switches and telephone networks.
