Soorena Fatehchehr M.D., Msc, Facog

Soorena Fatehchehr, MD, MSc, FACOG is an accomplished medical professional with extensive experience in minimally invasive surgery and urogynecology. Currently serving as an Adjunct Clinical Associate Professor at Keck Medicine of USC since June 2024, Soorena has also held the position of Division Chief at Kern Medical since April 2020. Additionally, Soorena is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, Los Angeles, and operates a private practice under Soorena Fatehchehr, MD Inc. In leadership roles, Soorena chairs the Urogynecology/Vaginal Surgery Special Interest Group for the AAGL since February 2022 and previously served as a Board Member for the Endometriosis/Reproductive Surgery Special Interest Group from December 2015 to December 2017. Education credentials include a Doctor of Medicine from Tehran University of Medical Sciences and a Master of Science in Clinical and Translational Science from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center. Soorena is board-certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology since 2014.
