Sambit Das has a wide range of experience in the communications and media industry. Sambit began their career as an Assistant Producer at Media Network Pvt. Ltd. in 2004 and then moved on to roles such as Associate Producer at Complete News and Entertainment Broadcast Pvt. Ltd. and Producer at Scorpion Media Pvt. Ltd. (Space TV). Sambit joined Verity Media and Productions Pvt. Ltd. as a Producer in 2009, where they were responsible for administrative, creative, and production management. Sambit then worked as a Communication Consultant at Mutual Public Relations and Aakhya Media Services, where they focused on content development, client servicing, and media strategy. Sambit became an Account Director at Concept PR in 2018 and later held the role of Group Account Head at Perfect Relations. Currently, Sambit serves as an Associate Director of Communications at Aakhya India.
Sambit Das completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Mass Communication (PGDMC) from the National Institute of Mass Communication, New Delhi affiliated to Guru Jambheshwar University from 2003 to 2004. Sambit then pursued a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA) from EMPI Business School affiliated to University of Madras from 2000 to 2003. Later, they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management (PGDMM) from the Institute of Management Technology, Ghaziabad from 2012 to 2013, specializing in Marketing/Marketing Management, General.
