Alex Camara

Alex Camara has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning several industries. Starting in 1970, they worked as an actor for Central Casting in London, playing various roles in films and television. In 1980, they joined Sainsbury's, a leading food retail group, where they held numerous positions in retail operations, strategy, and innovation.

In 1999, Camara moved to Coinstar, where they served as Senior Vice President and General Manager Worldwide Coin, overseeing the company's coin business with revenues exceeding $240 million. Alex also held positions as President and Vice President, responsible for developing Coinstar's international coin business and exploring new growth prospects.

From 2009 to 2010, Camara worked at NCR Corporation as President and General Manager of NCR Entertainment, leading the start-up and development of the company's entertainment business. Alex was accountable for the business model, revenue, profit, and capital expenditure.

In 2010, Camara founded their own consultancy, Camian LLC, focused on assisting high-growth small to mid-sized companies in accelerating growth and profitability. Alex worked with clients such as ZINO Society, providing strategic advice and support for their business growth.

In 2020, Camara became a member of METAL International, an organization aimed at fostering professional growth and development. Alex joined AAMP Global in 2022 as the EVP of the Audio Division and became the President of AudioControl, leading their award-winning residential, commercial, and home theater products. Alex'srole involves driving the organization's audio growth strategy and improving operating excellence.
