Mike MacKinnon is an accomplished Associate Professor at National University, teaching in the Doctorate of Nurse Anesthesia Practice (DNAP) program since 2020. MacKinnon serves on the Board of Directors for the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology, representing nurse anesthesiologists nationwide, and as a Trauma and Critical Care Team Member for the HHS Administration for Strategic Preparedness and Response, providing essential care in disaster situations. In addition, MacKinnon holds adjunct professor positions teaching Pathophysiology and principles of anesthesia at New Mexico State University, Idaho State University, Thomas Jefferson University, and Fairfield University, while also serving as adjunct faculty at Middle Tennessee School of Anesthesia.
