Erica Rémi

Erica Rémi is the current Director of Development at AANE. Erica has previously worked as the Associate Director of Donor Cultivation and Stewardship Support at Year Up from January 2013 to May 2017 and as a Consultant at Development Guild/DDI from December 2006 to January 2013.

Rémi has held five positions of increasing responsibility and has been recognized for their accomplishments in each role. As a Consultant, they oversaw the successful completion of searches for Chief Development Officers and other senior fundraising professionals. Erica also collaborated with clients’ executive staff (c-suite) and volunteer leadership to assess the candidate profile, define the scope of responsibilities for the position, and identify opportunities and barriers in recruiting and retaining talented professionals. In addition to these responsibilities, they also managed internal operations for the firm, including facilitating information-sharing meetings for staff, training staff members on search services and database use, and managing the firm's bi-quarterly newsletter to over 10,000 constituents.

Rémi's experience in management consulting has spanned nearly two decades and they have worked with clients in various industries, including but not limited to healthcare, education, and human services. Some of their notable clients include BPE (formerly known as Boston Plan for Excellence), Genesys Works, Mount Sinai Medical Center, Phelps Memorial Hospital Center, Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Planned Parenthood of Northern New England, Planned Parenthood of Southern New England, and Year Up.

Erica Rémi's educational career includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Brandeis University.

Their manager is Brenda Dater, Executive Director. They are on a team with Nataliya Poto - Director, LifeMAP & Asperger & Autism Professional Coaching Association Program, Cathy Aikman - Director of Marketing & Communications, and Nancy Schwartz - Senior Manager of Individual & Family Services, MRC & Employment Project Coordinator. Some direct reports include Alex Burke - Development Assistant, Jim Murray - Associate Director of Development, and Allison Knowles - Grant Writer.
