Ilia Walsh

Ilia Walsh is the current Director of Individual & Family Services at AANE. Ilia has also worked as a Director, Training and Education, Instructional Designer and Trainer at Asperger / Autism Network and as a teacher at Berlin-Boylston Regional School District. In addition, they are the creator and host of the Autism In Real Life Podcast.

Ilia has always been passionate about helping others, which is what led their to a career in education and training. Ilia has worked with individuals with autism for over 10 years and has a wealth of knowledge to share. Ilia is dedicated to their work and is always looking for ways to improve the lives of those they work with.

Ilia Walsh holds a MS Ed from Dowling College in Education, an MBA from Dowling College in Human Resources Management, and a Bachelor's from St. Joseph's College in Business. Ilia also has completed graduate certificate coursework in Behavioral Intervention in Autism from the University of Massachusetts at Lowell.

Ilia Walsh reports to Brenda Dater, Executive Director. Some direct reports include Aaron Levinger - Administrative Coordinator for Individual & Family Services, Amanda Bailey - Family Support Specialist, and Monique Byrne - Family Support Specialist for Spanish-Speaking Families.
