Alessandra Angelino MD, MPH has a diverse work experience that spans multiple companies and roles. Alessandra is currently a Clinical Fellow in Adolescent Medicine at Johns Hopkins Medicine, starting in 2023. Prior to this, they held various roles at the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) from 2020 to 2023, including Trainee Liaison for the Committee on Native American Child Health, AAP District IV Delegate & UNC AAP Program Delegate, and Community Access to Child Health District Representative. In these roles, they provided technical assistance and support for residents and attendings applying for CATCH grants in district IV, reviewed and scored grant applicants, and promoted CATCH opportunities to residency programs.

Before joining AAP, Alessandra worked as a Pediatric Resident Physician at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2020 to 2023. Alessandra also gained experience as an Intern at the Adolescent Prevention Education Program at Children's National Hospital in 2015. In addition, they worked as a Research Scholar at the Townsville Aboriginal and Islander Health Service in 2014, and as a Research Assistant at Management Sciences for Health in the same year.
