Courtney Day

Courtney Day has extensive work experience in the field of healthcare and public health. Courtney is currently working as the Manager of Community Health & Partnerships at the American Academy of Pediatrics, a role they started in February 2022. Prior to this, they worked for the City of Franklin from February 2019 to February 2022, where they held the position of Director of Health Services/Health Officer. Before joining the City of Franklin, they served as the Nursing Supervisor at the City of Wauwatosa Health Department from June 2015 to February 2019. Courtney also has experience working for the City of Wauwatosa as a Public Health Nurse from June 2011 to June 2015. Their career in healthcare began at Humana, where they worked as a Customer Service Claims Specialist from May 2002 to June 2011.

Courtney Day earned a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Bellin College, which they attended from 2007 to 2011. Prior to that, from 1998 to 2002, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in History from St. Norbert College.
