Jessica Pirkle has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Their most recent position is as a Resident Physician at Banner University starting in June 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Intern at the American Academy of Pediatrics, starting in November 2016. Jessica also has experience as a Medical Interpreter at Phoenix Allies for Community Health (PACH) starting in February 2015. Additionally, Jessica worked as a Yoga Instructor at Desert Sage Yoga starting in November 2010. Jessica also volunteered as a Research Assistant at Phoenix Children's Hospital from May 2011 to May 2016. Before transitioning into the medical field, Jessica was a Teacher at Montessori Academy, where they served as a Lead Teacher from August 2005 to March 2010 and an Assistant Teacher from August 2005 to March 2010. Prior to their teaching role, they worked as an Assistant Property Manager at Alliance Residential Management from October 2002 to August 2004.

Jessica Pirkle has a diverse education history. Jessica first attended Arizona State University from 2003 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Spanish Language and Literature. In 2016, they obtained Certification for Research Work with Human Subjects from the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI Program).

Later, from 2016 to 2017, they pursued a Master's Degree in the Science of Healthcare Delivery at Arizona State University. Finally, from 2018 to 2022, they attended the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix, where they obtained their Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree.
