Manager Screening And Special Health Care Needs Initiatives at AAP

Krysta Gerndt has diverse work experience spanning over several years. Krysta started their career at Abbott Laboratories as a Product Specialist from 2002 to 2003 and later transitioned into the role of Convention Coordinator from 2003 to 2006. Krysta then worked as a Research Specialist in Public Health at the Institute for Health Research & Policy from 2006 to 2009. Krysta then joined the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health as an ASPPH/CDC Global Program Management Fellow from 2009 to 2011. Krysta continued their career as a Program Manager at the University of California, San Francisco from 2011 to 2013. Currently, they hold the position of Manager, Screening and Special Health Care Needs Initiatives at the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2014.

Krysta Gerndt completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology, with a focus on Pre-Dentistry, at Augustana College from 1998 to 2002. Krysta then pursued further education at the University of Illinois Chicago, where they obtained a Master of Public Health degree in Community Health from 2006 to 2008.
