Erna Josiah-Davis, MSN, NNP, CNS has a diverse work experience in the field of neonatal care and education. Erna is currently serving as the Interim NP Supervisor in the Neonatal/Pediatric Department at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals. Erna'sresponsibilities include coordinating the Fetal Medicine Program and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to neonatal and pediatric patients. Erna has been associated with UCSF Benioff Children's Hospitals since 1995, initially working as a NNP and later assuming the role of Fetal Medicine Program Coordinator.

In addition to their work at UCSF, Erna has also contributed to the field of neonatal care as a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at East Bay Newborn Specialists. In this role, they provided comprehensive and family-centered healthcare to infants, performing approved medical procedures.

Erna's dedication to education is evident through their positions at the University of California, where they serve as an Assistant Clinical Professor and at UCSF School of Nursing as an Associate Clinical Professor. Erna has been involved in guiding and challenging nursing students in the master's degree program, in addition to grading and evaluating graduate student comprehensive exams.

Furthermore, Erna has also served as a Resuscitation Program Instructor for the American Academy of Pediatrics and as a Registered Nurse for the Board of Registered. Erna is also a Neonatal Resuscitation Provider and holds a Basic Life Support certification from the Healthcare Providers (American Heart Association).

Erna Josiah-Davis, MSN, NNP, CNS has an extensive education history. Erna obtained their MSN degree in Neonatology from the University of California, San Francisco from 1993 to 1995. Prior to that, they attended Loma Linda University from 1987 to 1991 where they earned a Bachelor of Science and a Masters of Science in Nursing.

Before pursuing higher education, Erna Josiah-Davis completed their high school diploma at St. Croix SDA School from 1982 to 1986. Erna also attended the University of the V.I. for two years from 1985 to 1987, although they did not earn a degree in this period.

Erna Josiah-Davis is dedicated to continuous learning and improving their skills. In September 2020, they obtained a certificate in "The Six Morning Habits of High Performers" from LinkedIn.
