Rachel Daskalov

Director, Public Health Initiatives For Child And Family Wellness at AAP

Rachel Daskalov has a diverse range of work experience. From 1997 to 1999, they worked at CRS Rehabilitation Services as an Office Manager, where they were responsible for managing office functions, patient relations, and spearheading special projects. From 1999 to 2012, they worked at Easter Seals, Inc. as a Project Director, where they managed quality improvement programs, the organizational extranet site, and consulting teams for program development. Since 2012, Rachel has been working at the American Academy of Pediatrics, starting as the Manager of Screening and Public Health Prevention Programs and later becoming the Director of Public Health Initiatives for Child and Family Wellness. In these roles, they have overseen various initiatives and projects focused on children and adolescents' health and wellness, including prenatal exposures, substance use issues, and mental health concerns.

Rachel Daskalov completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Calvin University, with a duration of study from 1991 to 1995. Following this, they pursued a Masters of Healthcare Administration at the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago Campus, from 1998 to 2000. Their field of study during this program was Healthcare Administration.
