Sherri L. Smith, MPH has extensive work experience in various roles related to global health and public health research. Sherri L. is currently employed at the American Academy of Pediatrics as the Manager of Global Child and Adolescent Health and previously worked as a Technical Consultant in the same field. Prior to that, they were a Program Manager, Evaluation at Sinai Chicago.

Sherri also has experience working at the Metropolitan Chicago Breast Cancer Task Force as a Research Assistant and at the University of Illinois at Chicago as a Research Assistant in the School of Public Health Center of Excellence in Maternal and Child Health.

Before their career in public health, Sherri worked as a Pharmacy Technician at CVS Health, where they were responsible for prescription processing and providing customer service. Sherri L. also worked as a Community Health Agent in Senegal as part of their service with the Peace Corps.

In addition, Sherri has experience in childcare as a Childcare Provider and as a Student Residential Assistant at Hope College. Sherri L. also held various roles in student recruitment and as a Campus Tour Guide at Hope College. Sherri L. conducted research in the fields of biology and stem cell development during their time as a student research assistant.

Sherri L. Smith, MPH, obtained their Master's Degree in Public Health from the University of Illinois Chicago from 2015 to 2018. Prior to that, they earned their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Japanese Composite Studies from Hope College, where they studied from 2009 to 2013.

In addition to their formal education, Sherri L. Smith has also acquired several additional certifications.
