Ashis H. Tayal

Ashis H. Tayal, MD MMM, serves as the Director of the Neuro Care Network at Wellstar Health System. Previously, Ashis held multiple leadership roles at Allegheny Health Network, including Medical Director of the Comprehensive Stroke Center and Director of the Cerebrovascular Center. Ashis trained in vascular neurology and completed a residency in neurology at UPMC, as well as an internal medicine residency at Mount Sinai Health System. Ashis earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Medicine and a Master's in Medical Management from Carnegie Mellon University's Heinz College of Information Systems and Public Policy, from 2018 to 2020.
