Michael Rhea

Michael Rhea is an experienced eContent Manager at the American Academy of Ophthalmology, where since May 2005, leadership has been provided in transitioning the Academy from live to virtual meetings. Recognized as an expert in virtual events, Michael oversees a range of activities, including Zoom Webinars and the virtual aspects of the annual meeting. Prior to this role, Michael served as a Senior Coordinator for the Northern California Human Resources Association from 2002 to 2004, acting as the primary spokesperson for multiple membership groups and enhancing marketing strategies through data-driven insights. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Theater from Ball State University, earned between 1986 and 1990.
