Michael Stevens

Michael Stevens currently serves as General Counsel and Vice President of Legal Affairs at the American Academy of Ophthalmology since June 2022. Prior to this role, Michael was a Partner at Seyfarth Shaw LLP from July 2014 to May 2022, where responsibilities included senior associate duties. Earlier in Michael's career, a position as a Litigation Associate was held at Paul Hastings from October 2008 to July 2014. Michael obtained a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center (2005-2008) and holds a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz (1996-2000).
