Rick Klauer

Rick Klauer has a diverse background in aviation and management, currently serving as a Standardization Pilot and Maintenance Test Pilot Evaluator at AAR since October 2024, and previously holding similar roles at the Arizona Department of Public Safety and AAR from June 2020 to August 2022. Klauer's military experience includes serving as a Standardization Pilot and Maintenance Test Pilot with the Arizona Army National Guard from December 2007 to July 2018, alongside a tenure in the US Navy as a Quality Assurance Officer and Student Naval Aviator. In addition to aviation, Klauer has held positions in management and education, including Supply Chain Manager at Honeywell and Physical Education Teacher at the United States Naval Academy. Klauer earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Oceanography, Chemical and Physical from the United States Naval Academy, graduating in 1996.
