Thomas Rutzki

Thomas Rutzki serves as the Head of Corporate Communications at Aareal Bank AG since January 2023. Prior to this role, Rutzki worked at Commerzbank AG from November 2009 to December 2022, holding the position of Leiter regionale Kommunikation, overseeing regional press activities in Germany, leading regional press spokespeople, and providing communication consulting to area executives. Rutzki's earlier experience includes various roles at Dresdner Bank AG from October 1997 to October 2009, including Leiter Vertriebskommunikation and Pressesprecher. Rutzki began in the banking field with a training program at Dresdner Bank AG from September 1990 to January 1993, culminating with a position as HR-Manager. Rutzki holds a Magister degree in Publizistik, Betriebswirtschaftslehre und Politikwissenschaft from Freie Universität Berlin and has also studied at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz.
