Jacob Philip

Jacob Philip is a Senior Member of Technical Staff at Aarna Networks. Jacob has previously worked as a Principal Engineer at Western Digital, a Staff Engineer at Hewlett-Packard, and a Specialist / System Software Engineer V at CDOT Alcatel Lucent Research Centre. Jacob has also worked as an Engineer at Qualcomm Atheros.

Jacob Philip has led the development of the data analytics layer of ActiveScale, WD's on-premise object storage solution. Jacob has also worked on Linux and UEFI FTL device driver. In addition, they have majorly contributed to HP-UX Code Coverage tool. Moreover, they have done R & D on RTOS based on Linux kernel 2.6 for Wimax Base Station, and has improved the real-time performance of Wimax Mac Scheduler.

Jacob Philip graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology in Madras with a M.Tech in Computer Sc & Engg..
