Chris Hancock

Chris Hancock AM is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the telecommunications and technology sectors. Since 2004, Chris has served as the Chief Executive Officer of AARNet, guiding the organization in its mission to provide high-quality internet services. Prior roles include Managing Director for Optus Business and Optus Wholesale from 1998 to 2004, and Group Director of Human Resources at Vodafone Australia from 1996 to 1998. Chris's career also includes leadership positions at Seven Network, where Chris was Managing Director and Director of Human Resources from 1993 to 1996. Chris holds an MBA in Business from AGSM @ UNSW Business School, completed between 1990 and 1994.
