Scott Munro

Scott Munro currently serves as the Threat Detection Engineer Manager at AARNet, starting in December 2023. Prior to this role, Scott held positions at CrowdStrike, including Security Advisor and Threat Response Analyst, from May 2020 to January 2024. Scott's experience also includes serving in the Australian Army from January 2015 to May 2020, where responsibilities included Defensive Cyber Operations and Communications Watch Officer duties, managing a communications watch and a pseudo email server while providing level 1 and level 2 specialist helpdesk support. Scott's educational background includes a Certificate IV in Cyber Security from Box Hill Institute and training as a Communication Specialist in Cyber/Electronic Operations and Warfare from the Defence Force School of Signals.
