Tim O’Leary

Tim brings nearly 30 years financial services and investment management experience to Aaron Capital, focusing on capital raising and complex wealth and relationship management.

He was a founding member of an independent, placement advisory firm that partnered exclusively with leading managers of alternative investment products seeking to raise capital from sophisticated institutional investors. His primary responsibilities were for sourcing and evaluating alternative investment and long-only fund manager clients from around the globe, and working closely with the sales team, which achieved over $1b in capital raise for fund manager clients. He was instrumental in the capital raise of a $100mm for the purchase of Vulcan Ventures a wireless communications provider with operations in 7 states and 11 cities and served as President.

Tim was Senior Vice-President of J. Michael-Patrick, a wealth management boutique providing asset allocation, manager selection, and portfolio construction services with emphasis on alternative investments and SMA’s.

Tim was Senior Vice-President at Oppenheimer & Co where he procured client assets and acted in a fiduciary capacity for ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices, and small- to mid-size businesses. Tim also initiated the firm’s participation in over $2b of underwriting, primarily in natural resources including oil and gas exploration and production companies, royalty trusts, timber, and pipelines.

Tim currently holds FINRA Private Securities Offerings Series 82, Uniform Investment Adviser Law Examination Series 65 and Finra administered NASAA Series 63.
