Mary Reece-Smith

Mary Reece-Smith is an experienced professional with a robust background in engineering and public administration. Currently serving as a Tax-Aide Volunteer with AARP Foundation since January 2023, Mary provides valuable tax preparation services to older adults and low to moderate income taxpayers. Prior to this role, Mary held several key positions at the Bureau of Reclamation, including Chief of the Resource Management Office and Manager of the Program Development Division, along with extensive experience as a General Engineer and Agreements Specialist. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Public Administration and Policy, a Master of Public Administration, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, all from Arizona State University.
