Linda Bowden

(vol) State President, AARP VT at AARP

Linda Bowden currently serves as the Volunteer State President for AARP Vermont, collaborating with the State Director on project goals, delivering programs, and chairing the AARP Vermont Advisory Council, while also recognized with the 2018 Vermont Andrus Award for community service. As a Science Education Specialist, Bowden specializes in training scientists to effectively communicate their research and has extensive experience in managing educational programs in various capacities, including roles at ECHO, Leahy Center for Lake Champlain, Vermont Public Radio, and Southern Encounter Aquarium in New Zealand. Linda Bowden holds a BSED degree, cum laude, in Business and Education from The University of Georgia.
