Richard W. Johnson

Richard W. Johnson is an accomplished economist currently serving as Vice President of Policy for Financial Security at AARP since October 2025. Prior experience includes a notable tenure at The Urban Institute, where Richard held the position of Senior Fellow and Director of the Program on Retirement Policy from May 1998 to October 2025. Additionally, Richard worked as an Assistant Research Professor at Rutgers University from July 1995 to May 1998. Richard W.
