Virginia Cueto

Virginia Cueto is an accomplished Director and Executive Producer at AARP, where since 2013, Virginia has managed the in-house Translations Services department, overseeing the translation of various organizational materials primarily into Spanish. Prior to this role, Virginia worked as a freelance translator specializing in English<>Spanish translations for legal and journalistic content. Virginia held editorial positions at Tiempos del Mundo, helping to revamp the website of a Spanish-language newspaper, and at Hispanic Publishing/Televisa, where Virginia contributed to the launch of HispanicOnline.com. Earlier experience includes serving as an editor at EFE, Spain's news agency. Virginia holds a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) Summa Cum Laude in English Language and Literature from Florida International University, a Certificate in Translation Studies, and an Advanced Diploma in Spanish as a Foreign Language.
