Colon Lewis

Colon Lewis, Ed.D., serves as the Vice President of Learning Networks at AASA, The School Superintendents Association, from June 2025 to the present, and is the founder of Leading Educational Workshops & Innovative Services since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as Chief Learning Officer at Battelle for Kids, where responsibilities encompassed developing educational content and courses related to strategic planning and instructional improvement from August 2021 to June 2025. Lewis has also held roles such as Strategic Data Project Fellow at Harvard University, Vice President of School and Community Transformation at Learning Circle Education Services, and Principal at Gahanna Jefferson Schools and Columbus City Schools, where noteworthy achievements included leading the 2013 Diplomas Now National High School of the Year. Educational qualifications include an Ed.D. in Education Administration from Ohio University, a Master's in Education from The Ohio State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Alma College.
