Ville Vainio

Ville Vainio has been working in the software development industry since 2016. Ville started at RELEX Solutions as a Machine Learning Engineer, where they developed scalable and high-performance machine learning functionality for the company's main product. Ville also worked as a Data Analyst, researching and developing a method to estimate assortment-based substitution in retail for their thesis. Additionally, they served as a Software Developer, working on a complex dashboard builder and table view for the core product of the company. In 2019, Vainio worked part-time as a Course Assistant at Aalto University, helping students work on their projects during a software development course. In 2020, they moved to Smartly.io and served as a Software Developer, developing a video editor and an image editor for browser. Vainio is currently working at Aatos as a Software Developer.

Ville Vainio received their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Aalto University in 2017, followed by a Master of Science in Computer Science from the same institution in 2019. Additionally, they attended Háskóli Íslands in 2018, studying Computer Science.
