Jay Thakkar

Jay Thakkar has worked in the IT industry since 2016. From 2016 to 2022, they worked at Insigno Quipment Technologies (India) Pvt Ltd as a Senior System Administrator and a System Administrator. During this time, they were responsible for administration of Windows servers, Linux servers, Dell Network Switches, Ubiquiti Network Devices, UPS, Network Printers, Desktops, Notebooks, Software Application and Web Application deployments, Security updates and patching, Vulnerability management, and Sophos UTM/XG firewalls. Jay also maintained network and servers up time and ensured network connectivity within the organization. Since 2022, they have been working at Aavenir as a Senior Engineer Infrastructure & Cloud.

Jay Thakkar has a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from Gandhinagar Institute of Technology, which they obtained between 2013 and 2016. Prior to that, they obtained a Diploma in Electronics and Communications Engineering from V.P.M.P. Polytechnic, Gandhinagar 654 between 2010 and 2013. Additionally, they have obtained two certifications: a Microsoft 365 Certified: Teams Administrator Associate from Microsoft in September 2021 and an AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in August 2022.
